Because she is.
We bought a storage chest that doubles as a toy box for her. This was so that, when closed, it still makes our living room look like a "grown-up" room.
This is something she just started two days ago. She's into EVERYthing...and I mean into.
Luckily, I had the camera near and was able to capture some funny pictures and video.

Very cute...I just knew she was about to fall out backwards...she did great!
The video was great! I kept waiting for the lid to fall and close her up in the box. I disagree with Mia, however. After all, she wasn't injured, just a tad impatient. Thinking back a few years, I know one little girl who would have been hit in the face with the lid. Another would have broken her arm. So, don't be "dissing" the little dare-devil. At least she was unscathed. :)
I love reading your blog! It is so much more interesting than anything I try to write in mine. Emmerson is such a cutie, and what a dare devil (dare angel sounds better!)
